New art exhibit explores issues of African American identity
You're invited to a reception on Sunday, January 17, from 3 to 6 pm in The Gallery (4th floor of the Liberal Arts building) to celebrate the opening of a new art exhibit at the college. Meet New York artist Cathleen Lewis, a mixed-media, installation artist who works with photography, drawing and synthetic human hair to explore issues of African-American identity. The exhibit runs through February 13.
